Martin HILL

British Land art artist

Born in 1946

An internationally renowed British sculptor and photographer, born in 1946.

Close to the ecology movement, he prefers the circle form, a visual metaphor of the cycle of nature, from  birth to death, death to revival.

Using only natural materials, including ice, he constantly reinvents the circle form in its multiple metamorphosis.

Crystal clear, immense, the New Zealand lakes harmonize with the purity of Martin HILL and  magnify in a more or less diffuse way the depth of their waters..
