Roy Frank STAAB

American Land art artist

Born in 1941

         He is known for the graphic and geometrical quality of his ephermeral creations made within aquatic sites of breathtaking beauty.  

         Without harming ecosystems, his installations made with stems of bamboo ou fragile willow shoots, blend subtly into the peaceful waters of the lakes.  
        The play of reflections, soft shadows, and diffuse light, changing throughout the seasons, finally achieve giving his creations an intense and enigmatic dimension.
