Teruhisa SUZUKI

Japanese Land art artist

Born in 1956

He lives in France but also works all over the world.
His installations,  created in the middle of nature with natural materials found or recovered there, consist of an elaborate assembly of branches forming « small pinholes » similar to phoographic dark rooms which capture ambient light..
By playing a role of  awakening of the sensory organs his works are discovered simultaneously from the inside and the outside and their perception is enriched at every moment by these multiple optical displacements under the combined effect of shadow and subdued light.
